Ronald McDonald House Charities WA

Ronald McDonald House Charities WA recognise that when a child is sick or injured, it impacts the whole family.

They play a unique role supporting family-centered care in WA, helping families with sick children stay together; and thanks to your Lotto tickets, Ronald McDonald House Charities WA been providing this support for a number of years.

More recently a grant of up to $300,000 went towards a retreat in Mandurah and up to $280,000 for a retreat in Busselton. The retreats offer a welcomed sanctuary for families with sick or injured kids to reconnect, relax and enjoy time together; an experience most of us often take for granted.

Back in 2015, an $8,000,000 grant went towards the construction and fit out of the Ronald McDonald House in Nedlands. Since then, the house has been providing accommodation for regional WA families whose children are receiving treatment at the new Children's Hospital, helping families to be together when they need each other most.
