Preparing your application

Once locations are advertised, you have 35 business days to apply. Applications are assessed against the essential criteria:

• Suitable business type
• Registered business structure
• Compliance checks
• Possession of a valid lease, offer to lease or freehold title for the specified location
• Adequate space to accommodate Lotterywest shopfit requirements.

Shortlisted applicants

Shortlisted applicants are required to attend an interview at our Subiaco Head Office. Learning modules will be provided before the interview so yo

Applicants will be assessed against our essential criteria including:

• Communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Business acumen
• Lotterywest product knowledge

The highest scoring applicant in the interview will be successful. All applicants will be advised of the outcome within 36 days of the EOI closing.

Successful applicants

The successful applicant/s will receive final approval and a Letter of Offer. Your appointment as a Lotterywest retailer will not be effective until all documents contained in your Letter of Offer are signed and returned.

Unsuccessful applicants

There may be reasons why an application does not meet our requirements. In these cases, we will give formal notification that the application has not been approved.

If you have evidence of an error being made in the process or the decision, and can provide additional information, you may request a Decision Review within 10 business days of receiving your outcome letter. To learn more about our Decision Review process click here.
