Wyn Carr House expansion and refurbishment complete

Uniting WA has completed the refurbishment and expansion of Wyn Carr House in Fremantle following a grant from the Cook Labor Government that delivered a new 12-unit transitional accommodation facility for women over 55.

The $7.01 million State Government grant, including $2.06 million from Lotterywest, funded the construction of the dedicated 12-bedroom facility, as well as refurbishments to the existing heritage building.

Wyn Carr House will provide safe, secure and supported accommodation in Fremantle, helping vulnerable older women access stability and the services they need to rebuild their lives.
