What you need to know about tonight’s $70 million OZ Lotto draw

Western Australian players have a chance to create Australian Lotto history tonight, by becoming OZ Lotto’s biggest individual lottery prize winner.

If one person takes home the entire $70 million prize, they will be the biggest Australian lottery winner so far in 2025 and become the winner of OZ Lotto’s largest individual prize.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the $70 million prize is the fourth biggest jackpot offered by OZ Lotto in the game’s 31-year history.

“Although an individual winner would set a new OZ Lotto prize record, we hope to see a WA syndicate take home the $70 million prize,” he said.

“Many of our larger wins in recent history have been shared by a group of players, which is a great way to share the cost of a ticket and hopefully the joy of a win.

“It’s been a great start to the year for Lotto wins in WA and we hope to add another WA win to the tally tonight.”

In January so far, WA has celebrated seven Division One wins, which is more than double the three Division One wins recorded in January 2024.

Players have until 6pm today to grab a ticket either in store or online and are encouraged to register their ticket to a Lotterywest membership to keep it safe.
