A Western Australian ticket has won a cool $1 million in last night’s Millionaire Medley draw.
The winning ticket was one of two across the country that matched the numbers to a Division One prize, with the other ticket being sold in Queensland.
The WA ticket was sold through Lotterywest Play Online.
A ticket sold by Swan View Newsagency also won a Division Two prize, now worth $5,166.
The good news for WA keeps coming, with another WA player winning Division Two in last night’s Set for Life draw. This ticket was sold from The Nugget Boddington and the player will pocket $5,000 a month for the next 12 months.
Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said it had been a great night for WA players.
“It’s fantastic to celebrate another West Australian millionaire alongside two Division Two wins,” she said.
“Since Millionaire Medley launched in May this year, seven West Australian’s have matched the numbers to a Division One prize and become overnight millionaires.
“Hopefully the wins for WA players continue for tonight’s $50 million Powerball jackpot.
“If a WA player takes home tonight’s entire $50 million Powerball jackpot it will be the State’s largest Lotto win this year.”
Tickets are available for tonight’s Powerball jackpot until 6pm in-store, online or via the Lotterywest App.
