Warnbro home to WA’s newest millionaire

Warnbro locals should check their Saturday Lotto tickets, with one Western Australian ticket matching the winning numbers for a Division One prize in the weekend’s draw.

The ticket was purchased from Warnbro News and Gifts and is now worth more than $1.2 million.

Warnbro News and Gifts manager Liam Richards said he was thrilled to have sold a Division One prize.

“The boss called me as soon as he found out on Saturday night to share the exciting news,” he said.

“I’ve been working at Warnbro News and Gifts for four years and have gotten to know many of the regular customers well, so I’m hoping it’s one of them.”

The weekend’s draw also delivered seven ticket holders with a Division Two win of almost $10,000 across the State.

The Division Two winning tickets were sold from:

  • Beaumaris News and Post
  • Crosslands Newsagency
  • Heights Lottery Centre and News
  • Leda Lottery Centre and Newsagency
  • The Kwinana Hub Lottery Centre and News
  • Lotterywest online
  • A syndicate shared by Beechboro News, Forest Lakes Newsagency, Maddington Lottery Centre, and Marmion Post and Newsagency.

Plus, two WA Super66 players took home $6,666 each in the Saturday night draw.

Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said this win brings 2025’s Division One winners’ tally to 19.

“Across the State, more than two thirds of this year’s Division One winners have been thanks to Saturday Lotto alone,” she said.

The next chance for West Aussies to win is in tonight’s Millionaire Medley draw.

Tickets for the draw are available until 6pm on Monday in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.
