WA ticket wins $50 million Powerball prize
A Western Australian ticket has matched the numbers to win tonight’s entire $50 million Powerball jackpot.
The WA ticket was the only Division One winning ticket across the country.
Lotterywest Acting CEO Lorna Pritchard said tonight’s Powerball prize is the largest to be won by a WA player for more than three years.
“WA hasn't seen a Division One win this big since a group of 18 workmates shared a $53 million Powerball prize in October 2022,” she said.
“It’s wonderful to be celebrating WA's fourth Powerball win of the year, which will no doubt be a life-changing moment for tonight’s winner.”
WA players are also celebrating more than 178,000 prizes across other divisions, including one Division Two ticket worth $160,671 sold by The Lucky Charm Willetton.
Lotterywest is proud to be able to provide ongoing support to the WA community, with this five-week Powerball jackpot roll contributing $10.7 million to Lotterywest’s grants program.
A Lotterywest grant of $1.2 million is supporting food relief charity SecondBite with a bigger facility in Kewdale, which recently opened and is helping feed more Western Australian families who are in need.
Tonight’s winning numbers are 22, 10, 6, 15, 2, 8, 7 and the Powerball is 13.
As the Division One prize is $50 million, Lotterywest will hold off sharing the exact location of where the ticket was sold, a policy which encourages the protection of the player.
