WA ticket scoops entire $6 million Saturday Lotto jackpot

One West Australian is celebrating a life-changing prize after holding the only ticket to claim Saturday Lotto’s entire jackpot in a remarkably rare win.

The winning ticket, sold through Lotterywest Play Online, was the only one across the nation to match the winning numbers on Saturday night and will take home more than $6.1 million in prize money.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said it had been almost three years since a single WA ticket claimed an entire Saturday Lotto jackpot.

“It’s incredibly rare for a single ticket to win the entire Saturday Lotto jackpot,” she said.

“As Australia’s most popular lottery game, Saturday Lotto’s jackpot is usually shared between multiple winning tickets.

“Over the past five years, only 10 Saturday Lotto draws have seen a single ticket take home the full Division One prize.

“The last time this happened in WA was in November 2023, when an Esperance ticket won the entire $5.1 million jackpot.

“We can’t wait to meet the weekend’s winner in the Lotterywest Winners Room and hear how they plan to enjoy their life-changing $6.2 million prize.”

The weekend’s result takes WA’s Division One winner’s tally for 2026 to 41 winners who have shared in more than $91 million in Division One prizes.

In more good news, on Saturday night 13 WA players took home Division Two Saturday Lotto prizes worth $8,485 each and two WA players won Division Two prizes of $6,666 in Super66.

Plus, on Sunday night, a ticket sold from Nextra Ellenbrook matched the numbers to a Division Two prize in Set for Life. That ticketholder will take home $5,000 a month for the next 12 months.

Every Lotto ticket sold in Western Australia contributes to Lotterywest’s grants program, which supports community initiatives and projects across the State.

Perth Comic Arts Festival, happening this week from 23-26 July, is a celebration of comics, creativity and storytelling at Perth’s Cultural Centre. A Lotterywest grant of $15,000 is supporting event infrastructure and festival programming, enabling social connection and supporting creative participation in WA.

This week’s $40 million Powerball jackpot offers WA players the chance to win a life-changing prize.
