WA saddles up for Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations

Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations return this February, bigger and brighter than ever, with the traditional greeting of "Gong Xi Fa Cai" ("wishing you prosperity and wealth") being exchanged.

The Year of the Horse will begin on Tuesday, 17 February, ushering in celebrations worldwide as communities come together to mark this significant cultural event.

The Cook Government is proud to support the Perth Chinese New Year Fair with $85,000 in funding through the Office of Multicultural Interests and Lotterywest.
