Two West Aussies celebrate Division One prizes just in time for Christmas

Western Australia is celebrating a duo of Division One wins from the weekend, just in time for Christmas.

In Friday’s Millionaire Medley draw a ticket sold at Fieldgate News & General Store in Balga matched the numbers to a $1 million prize.

The Christmas cheer continued on Saturday night when a ticket sold at Palmyra Supa News turned into a $1,350,452 prize.

Nine WA tickets also won Division Two prizes in Saturday’s draw, with each ticket now worth more than $12,000.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said this brings the Division One winners tally for the year to 65, with these players sharing in more than $126 million in prizes.

“It’s never a bad time to win a Division One prize, but to have it happen the weekend before Christmas makes it extra special,” she said.

“Lotterywest HQ will be closed to collect prizes on public holidays, but open all other days, and we look forward to welcoming these ticket holders to the Lotterywest Winners Room very soon.”

Thanks to WA players just like these, available profits from ticket sales benefit the WA community through Lotterywest’s grants program.

Lotterywest grants support community initiatives like Mission Australia’s Christmas Lunch in the Park.

Celebrate the New Year with friends, family and colleagues, and organise a Megadraw syndicate. By creating a syndicate, you can share the cost of a ticket and possibly the joy of a win.

Megadraw tickets are available until 6pm on Saturday 4 January 2025, in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.

Saturday Lotto Division Two winning tickets were sold at:

  • Crimea Newsagency
  • Erskine Lotteries and Newsagency
  • Peppermint Grove Lottery Centre
  • Queens Supa IGA plus Liquor
  • The Lucky Charm Midland
  • The Lucky Charm Rockingham
