Top-of-the-wozza massage chair on the shopping list for winning Mandurah couple

A Mandurah couple will treat themselves to a top-of-the-range massage chair thanks to winning a $2 million Saturday Lotto prize on a ticket purchased through Lotterywest Play Online.

Having not yet checked their ticket, the couple in their 40s spent the Sunday following the draw shopping for a massage chair, unaware their new budget allowed them to choose the best of the best.

“When we got home from shopping first thing I did was check the cricket score. Feeling disappointed WA lost, my disappointment soon faded when I checked my Lotto ticket and saw I had all the numbers,” the winner said.

“I couldn’t believe it . . . we didn’t sleep a wink that night. It was only when Lotterywest rang the next morning that we knew it was real.”

The couple said an early retirement, holiday home in Margaret River and giving to charity were also on the cards thanks to the life-changing prize.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said the Lotterywest Winners Room had seen a fantastic start to 2026, especially over the Valentine’s Day weekend.

“West Aussies were certainly celebrating a Lotto love for the Valentine's Day weekend, with a total of five Division One prizes won by WA players,” she said.

“WA’s Division One winners tally across all Lotto games for 2026 is now at 15, with these players sharing in more than $26 million in Division One prizes.”

Thanks to WA players and retailers, all available profit from every Lotto ticket sold supports the WA community through Lotterywest’s grants program.

A Lotterywest grant of $139,000 is supporting Mandurah Performing Arts Incorporated with infrastructure improvements to enhance community access to cultural and creative spaces and activities.

This week West Aussies have the chance to win a $30 million prize in tonight’s OZ Lotto draw.
