Thornlie ticket turns to triple million

A Western Australian Saturday Lotto ticket is now worth more than $3.3 million thanks to the weekend’s $10 million special draw.

Saturday’s draw created three Division One winners across the country, with one of those tickets sold from Forest Lakes Newsagency in Thornlie.

The win is Saturday Lotto’s biggest prize for a WA player so far this year.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the weekend’s result is WA’s 12th Division One win for 2025.

“They say good things come in threes, which I’m sure the owner of this $3.3 million ticket will agree with,” he said.

“It would be great to see this win turn into a trio of wins for WA following Tuesday’s $15 million OZ Lotto draw and Thursday’s $30 million Powerball draw.”

The good news for WA players did not stop at Division One with 13 Division Two tickets sold in Saturday’s draw, worth around $11,500 each.

There were also 186 Division Three tickets claimed by WA in the draw, worth more than $1,100 each.

Tickets for OZ Lotto’s $15 million jackpot are available until 6pm on Tuesday in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.
