The search is now on for two Western Australian Division One winners as the State celebrates a duo of wins from Monday’s Millionaire Medley draw.
In addition to the Set for Life winner from Northam, and three Division One wins in Morley over the last two weeks, two players have become overnight millionaires in last night’s draw.
One winner arrived at Lotterywest HQ first thing this morning to claim her prize.
The woman, from the western suburbs, bought her ticket through Lotterywest Play Online and plans to use her winnings to make life more comfortable and help her family.
The second Division One win, sold at Mullaloo News and Lotteries, is now worth $1 million.
Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said the good news just keeps coming for WA.
“I was delighted to welcome another winner to Lotterywest’s Winners Room early this morning,” she said.
“This brings the tally for the year to 31 winners, sharing in more than $42 million.”
In the last 23-24 Financial Year, more than $1 billion in grants and prizes went to the WA community.
This includes $373 million in grants to 375 organisations, including more than $2 million to One Tree Community Services Inc towards equipment, renovations and fit-out of 12 childcare centres.
The next chance for WA players to win is in Thursday’s $30 million Powerball jackpot.
Tickets are available in-store, online or via the Lotterywest App until 6pm Thursday.
