It is gearing up to be a massive week for Western Australian Lotto players, with $120 million on offer thanks to Lotterywest’s jackpotting games, Powerball and OZ Lotto.
This week, OZ Lotto is offering a Division One prize of $20 million, in the lead up to Thursday’s huge $100 million Powerball draw.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said excitement for Thursday’s $100 million Powerball jackpot is already starting to build.
“We are expecting up to half of Australian adults to have an entry into this week’s $100 million Powerball draw,” he said.
“This $100 million Powerball draw is a great opportunity for WA players to get together with friends, family, or work mates to share the cost of a ticket by creating a syndicate, and hopefully enjoying a win together.
“WA syndicates have celebrated many Division One wins in recent history, with the State’s the top three prizes shared by groups.”
A group of 55 ladies from a northern suburbs’ gym shared an $80 million Powerball prize back in 2021, which holds the record as WA’s biggest Lotto win.
This means if a single WA entry takes out the $100 million Division One prize this week, it will set a record for the State.
Tickets for Thursday night’s $100 million Powerball draw are available in-store, online and via the App until 6pm on the day of draw.
