Powerball has jackpotted to a massive $60 million.
Over the past four weeks no ticket across the country has been able to match the numbers to a Division One prize.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the $60 million jackpot has opened the door for a WA player to claim the biggest prize since 2022.
“Next Thursday’s $60 million Powerball draw is a chance for a WA player to match the numbers to the largest Division One prize awarded since February 2022,” he said.
“When reviewing our winners’ history books, WA must travel back to early 2022, which saw a syndicate from Kalgoorlie celebrate a $63 million Powerball win.”
Although tonight’s draw didn’t create a Division One winner, more than 164,000 Powerball prizes were recorded across other divisions in WA.
The good news for WA continues with more than $7 million contributing to Lotterywest’s grants program, thanks to this four-week Powerball jackpot roll.
