Powerball jackpots to $100 million

For the first time since August, Powerball has jackpotted to $100 million.

For the past four weeks, no ticket across the country has matched the numbers to secure a Division One prize.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said Powerball could make Lotto history next week.

“If a WA ticket takes out next week’s entire $100 million Powerball jackpot, this would be WA’s largest Division One prize on record,” she said.

“WA’s current biggest Lotto win is an $80 million Powerball prize, which was shared by a group of 55 ladies from a gym in the northern suburbs in December 2021.

“These large jackpots are a great opportunity for players to get a syndicate together of family, friends or workmates, to share the cost of a ticket and hopefully the joy of a win.”

In tonight’s draw, more than 200,000 WA players won prizes across other divisions.

This four-week jackpot run has so far raised $9.8 million for Lotterywest’s grants program.

Lotterywest grants benefit community organisations all over the State, including a recent $2 million grant which will support Uniting WA to develop a transitional accommodation service for women over 55 experiencing homelessness.

Tickets for Powerball’s $100 million jackpot are available in-store, online or via the Lotterywest App until 6pm on Thursday.
