OZ Lotto jackpots to $50 million

OZ Lotto has jackpotted to $50 million, opening the door for a WA player to match a State record.

The biggest Division One prize in WA history was set in July 2015, when a ticket from NewsXpress Armadale Central matched the numbers to a $50 million prize.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said fingers were crossed that WA could soon equal the record.

“In recent history, WA has produced a couple of $30 million Division One winners, but it would be nice to challenge the $50 million 2015 record,” Mr Mooney said.

“Although tonight’s draw has jackpotted, more than 69,000 WA players have scored a prize between Division two and six.

“This jackpot run has also raised more than $4 million towards Lotterywest’s grant program, which is a massive win for WA community groups.”

Tickets for OZ Lotto’s $50 million draw can be bought up until 6pm on draw day in-sore, online or via the app.
