A Set for Life ticket from Northam has matched the numbers to a prize worth $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.
The ticket from Northam Central Newsagency was the only ticket across the country to claim a Division One prize in Friday night’s draw.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said the search is on for WA’s first Set for Life Division One winner this year.
“Imagine starting your weekend knowing you will receive $20,000 a month for the next 20 years,” he said.
“It’s fantastic to celebrate our first Set for Life winner for WA in 2024, with this win taking our Division One tally for the year to 28.”
Thanks to WA players, Lotterywest, which is the only State Government owned and operated lottery in the country, delivers all available profits back into the community in the form of grants.
This includes a $10,000 grant towards last year's Northam Heritage and Multicultural Festival.
The next major draw for WA players is this Thursday in Powerball’s $30 million jackpot.
Tickets are available in-store, online or via the Lotterywest App until 6pm Thursday.
