New Board member appointed to Lotterywest

Lotterywest is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Griffin Longley to the Lotterywest Board of Commissioners.

Mr Griffin Longley has been appointed for a three-year term, commencing in August 2026.

Lotterywest Chair Karen Brown said Mr Longley held extensive leadership, governance and community sector experience, with a strong track record of establishing and scaling organisations, managing significant funding programs and building strategic partnerships.

“It’s fantastic to welcome Griffin to the Lotterywest Board,” Ms Brown said.

“His diverse experience will be a great addition to our board, as we continue to steward Lotterywest’s vision for a hopeful, healthy, connected and sustainable community life for all Western Australians.”

A former journalist, Mr Longley’s experience also includes developing governance frameworks, supporting board operations, strategic and operational planning, and establishing collaborative alliances across multiple jurisdictions.

He is currently the Director Economic Dignity and Family Supports at Minderoo Foundation.

Mr Longley fills the board position previously held by Brianna Peake, who was appointed Investment and Trade Commissioner for the Americas.
