Western Australia has secured another Saturday Lotto Division One prize, this time the joy coming from the South West.
Capel Newsagency was home to the Saturday Lotto ticket that matched the numbers to the $401,209 prize.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said WA has celebrated 10 Division One winners in the past month alone.
“Most of these 10 wins have come from Saturday Lotto, but we have also celebrated two Set for Life wins, along with a Millionaire Medley winner,” he said.
“Our Winner’s Room has been quite full the past month, which has been fantastic to see.”
As the search for the Capel winner continues, the owner of the $1.2 million prize from the Lucky Charm Gwelup was one of 10 Division One winners to visit Lotterywest HQ recently.
“I just about collapsed,” the man from Perth’s north said.
“I have a small container where I put my winnings, but after this win I think I’m going to need a bigger container.”
