Mid-Year Megadraw could create several WA millionaires

There’s a chance for Western Australians to become millionaires following tonight’s $30 million Mid-Year Megadraw.

Now in its third year, last year’s Mid-Year Megadraw saw a ticket from Dog Swamp Newsagency in Yokine turn into a life-changing $2 million prize for a WA player, and was among 15 Division One winning tickets across the country.

Plus, 19 WA players celebrated a Division Two win, each securing a prize worth $13,000.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said so far this year 23 West Aussies have taken home a Division One prize, sharing in more than $30 million. Of these winners, 12 wins have been thanks to Saturday Lotto.

“We’re expecting ticket sales to peak between 11am and 12pm today, with around 600 tickets sold each minute,” she said.

“Imagine celebrating the end of the financial year with a life-changing win, or even better sharing that win as a syndicate of family, friends or work colleagues.”

The WA community will benefit from each Megadraw ticket sold, with all available profits going back to local community groups in the form of grants.

Last year’s Mid-Year Megadraw raised $5.5 million to support organisations like Youth Futures with a Lotterywest grant to help vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in the metropolitan area.

Mid-Year Megadraw tickets are available until 6pm on Saturday 29 June, in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.
