Western Australian players who bought a Saturday Lotto ticket in the Malaga area are encouraged to check their numbers.
Thanks to Saturday Lotto, a WA ticket has won a Division One prize worth more than $1.6 million.
WA’s winning ticket was sold by Malaga Newsagency and is one of three Division One winners across the nation following the weekend’s Saturday draw.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said Saturday’s winning ticket is the second Division One prize sold by Malaga Newsagency in recent months.
“Malaga Newsagency was home to last October’s $30 million Powerball prize, which was shared by a group of 15 workmates,” he said.
“It’s great to see another Malaga millionaire created, thanks to this store.
“This Saturday Lotto winner takes WA to 16 Division One wins for 2025 so far, and hopefully the winner’s list continues to grow throughout the week.”
Saturday’s draw also created 19 Division Two wins from WA, with each prize worth more than $7,181.
