Double the joy for Millionaire Medley winner
A second Division One winning ticket has been won in the City of Melville this week, after a Millionaire Medley ticket sold at The Lucky Charm Bull Creek won a $2 million prize in last night’s draw.
Thanks to Millionaire Medley’s Black Friday special event, the Division One prize was doubled from $1 million to $2 million.
The ticket was the only Division One win across the country, hot on the heels of a Saturday Lotto ticket sold at Palmyra Supa News, which took home a Division One prize worth $791,600 last weekend.
Last night’s winning ticket holder arrived at Lotterywest HQ bright and early this morning to claim their $2 million prize.
The Lucky Charm Bull Creek store owner Onna Lawton said she felt the win had been “a long time coming.”
“It’s so exciting and I’m very happy, we’ve already put balloons and signs up all over the store to celebrate,” she said.
“It’s amazing to know that someone has won a $2 million prize thanks to a ticket sold here, hopefully this is the first of many.
“We’ve had the store since 2019, and this is our first Division One winning ticket so it’s been a long time coming.”
Last night more than 17,000 WA players across the State doubled their prize in other divisions.
This included three Division Two tickets sold at Front Page News in Albany, Morley Millions and through Lotterywest Play Online, each worth more than $28,000.
Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said October and November had been stellar months for WA Lotto players.
“October and November delivered a total of 18 Division One prizes - including five Millionaire Medley wins,” she said.
“We’re already off to a great start for December, a Lotto win at this time of year is bound to make for an extra special festive season.”
Since Millionaire Medley’s launch in May 2024, more than $19 million has been raised from ticket sales to support WA community groups through Lotterywest’s grants program, all thanks to WA players.
This includes an $8,000 Lotterywest grant to support Bull Creek Primary School’s 50th anniversary celebration, strengthening community connections and fostering a deeper sense of belonging.
WA players have the chance to become a multi-millionaire in tonight’s $5 million Powerball draw.
Tickets are available until 6pm in-store, online or through the Lotterywest App.
