Leading food relief organisation SecondBite will significantly expand its capacity to provide food to vulnerable Western Australian families thanks to a $1.2 million Lotterywest grant.
The grant will go towards the installation of cold storage facilities, racking, office space, and a high-reach forklift at SecondBite's new Kewdale facility.
In addition, it will reduce food wastage and ensure that more Western Australians in need are provided with fresh produce that would have otherwise gone to landfill.
