Campaign returns for Gambling Harm Awareness Week

Western Australians are being encouraged to stop chasing the impossible win and reflect on their gambling habits during this year's Gambling Harm Awareness Week.

The Don't Chase the Unicorn Bet campaign highlights a simple but important message: there is no guaranteed big win, and chasing losses can lead to significant harm.

Delivered by the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety, the campaign aims to increase awareness of gambling-related harm, encourage help-seeking behaviour and start conversations about the risks associated with gambling.

The campaign will run throughout Western Australia across social media, radio, digital and community channels.
