A memorable Christmas for Millionaire Medley winner

A Northampton woman is looking forward to celebrating her Division One Millionaire Medley prize surrounded by family at an extra joyful Christmas lunch next month.

The Mid-West woman purchased her winning System 7 ticket from Northampton Newsagency, which matched the numbers to win a $1 million Division One prize in Monday night’s draw.

After realising she had become an instant millionaire, the winner said the prize was going to make what was set to be an already extra special Christmas, even more magical.

“This year is going to be the first time in a long time where almost our entire family will be together on Christmas Day,” she said.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun, we have a very big family!

“There will be lots of children running around, which makes Christmas special, but to have also won this Millionaire Medley prize is incredible.”

Lotterywest spokesperson Jake Battrick said Monday’s win was Western Australia’s 16th Division One Millionaire Medley winner for the year.

“From next week, Millionaire Medley players will have the chance to double their prize across all divisions for three draws in the Black Friday Special Event,” he said.

“This means that a Division One prize of $2 million is on offer for up to six winners in each draw on Friday 28 November, Monday 1 December or Wednesday 3 December.”

Thanks to WA players, Lotterywest is supporting the WA Day Festival with a grant of $1.5 million. This weekend’s WA Day Festival offers a weekend of fun, free and family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets for Millionaire Medley’s Black Friday Special Event are available until 6pm in-store, online or through the Lotterywest App up until the final draw on Wednesday 3 December.
