WA had a Division 1 winning ticket, taking home a share in the incredible $120 million Powerball jackpot.
The winning ticket, now worth over $63 million, was a syndicate entry sold in regional WA. This win comes just months after WA’s record-breaking $80 million win in December last year and is the biggest win for WA this year.
Lotterywest CEO Ralph Addis said he was thrilled that another Western Australian has won a share in the Powerball jackpot.
“This is welcome news for Lotterywest players and an incredible result,” he said.
“What a start to the year our State has experienced – tonight’s win makes it 11 Division One winners in just two months who have celebrated with more than $99 million in prizes.”
More than 685,000 WA winners took home a Powerball prize tonight across the other Divisions, including 20 Division Two wins each worth over $77,000.
Thanks to WA players buying tickets over the last seven weeks* of Powerball jackpotting, Lotterywest has raised over $25 million to support the local community via its direct grants program.
