Western Australia was home to the only two tickets, across the country, to match the winning numbers in the Saturday Lotto draw over the weekend.
Worth more than $2.5 million each, the tickets were sold from Norseman Gold Pharmacy and Waterfront News, Gifts and Lottery Centre in Rockingham.
Waterfront News Store Owner, David Mews, said it’s a great feeling to produce their second Division 1 winning ticket this year.
“It just feels awesome, this is our fourth win in just over two years and it’s amazing to have been part of so many of our customer’s winning experience,” he said.
Lotterywest spokesperson Alana Christian said WA is on a Lotto winning streak.
“Not only did Saturday’s draw see two West Aussies take home a Division 1 prize, but it also saw WA produce 19 Division 2 tickets, each worth more than $2,500,” she said.
