South West duo win in Saturday Lotto!

The weekend’s special $10 million Saturday Lotto draw saw two West Aussies share in the Division One prize pool.

Each winner will take home more than $1.6 million, with the South West ticket holders among six winners nationwide.

The tickets were purchased from NewsXpress Bunbury Forum, and West Busselton News & Post.

Nevile McDonald of NewsXpress Bunbury Forum said he was ecstatic to have sold another Division One ticket, and happy for the individual who won.

“It’s always nice to sell a Division One win, it really gives the community a buzz,” Nevile said.

Lotterywest spokesperson Emma Rogers said the weekend’s result marks 75 and 76 in the Division One winners’ tally for 2023.

“We’ve now surpassed the total WA Division One winners from 2022, with a month and a half still left in the year” Emma said.

“WA players have enjoyed more than $200 million in Division One prizes so far this year, and we’re hoping to continue building on this as we approach the New Year.”

The weekend also marked seven weeks until one of the biggest Saturday Lotto draws of 2023, the $30 million Megadraw on 30 December.

Tickets are available in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App until 6pm draw day.
