One WA player has picked up the Division 1 prize in last week’s Set for Life draw, taking home $20,000 each month for the next 20 years.This win marks the first Division 1 Set for Life winner in WA this year.The winning ticket, sold at Good News Newsagency in Kambalda, follows another big win from the Goldfields region with WA’s recent $160 million Powerball Division One ticket produced by Boulder Newsagency and Lotto.Good News Newsagency store manager Susan Schoch was excited by the news and said there was a great buzz in the store that morning!“It feels great to have sold the winning ticket, particularly because it has been a long time coming,” she said.“We’d like to see a regular customer win, but everyone is happy for the winner either way.”Lotterywest spokesperson Sarah Dawson said it was great to see our first Set for Life winner in WA this year.
