Trio of WA tickets celebrate a cool Division One win

A trio of Western Australian tickets have kicked off this sizzling hot week with a cool $851,429 win from the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold from Harrison Street Newsagency in Balcatta, Hilton Plaza Newsagency in Beaconsfield and Nextra Merredin News & Stationary in Merredin.

The ticket sold from Harrison Street Newsagency in Balcatta was a retailer syndicate with 15 shares each worth $60,156.

Western Australia’s winning tickets were three of six Division One wins across the country.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said it’s been a fantastic few weeks for Saturday Lotto players.

“This is the second weekend in a row where WA players are celebrating a trio of Saturday Lotto wins,” she said.

“It’s always fantastic to see Division One wins in regional WA too, with Merredin and Pinjarra already on our winners list for 2025.”

Along with the three Division One wins, Saturday Lotto also produced ten Division Two wins worth more than $11,000 each.

In more good news for WA, Saturday’s Set for Life draw saw a ticket from Morris Fresh IGA in Innaloo match the numbers to a Division Two prize. That player will now take home $5,000 each month for the next 12 months.

All available profits from every Lotto ticket sold benefit the WA community through Lotterywest’s grants program.

A $20,000 Lotterywest grant is supporting the Undalup Bunuru Festival held in February to celebrate the South West’s rich Aboriginal cultural heritage.

The next chance for WA players to win is in tomorrow’s $50 million OZ Lotto draw.

Tickets are available until 6pm on Tuesday in-store, online or via the Lotterywest App.
