Tonight’s $100 million OZ Lotto draw could be a record breaker

Tonight’s $100 million OZ Lotto’s draw opens the door for a new Western Australian lottery prize record.

The $100 million draw is the equal biggest jackpot the game has offered in its 31-year history.

If a single WA ticket takes out the entire Division One prize it will surpass the State’s current $80 million record that’s stood since 2021.

Lotterywest CEO Colin Smith said the last time OZ Lotto presented a $100 million prize was in November 2012.

“If a WA ticket takes out tonight’s entire $100 million OZ Lotto jackpot, it will be the State’s largest Division One prize on record, and the third largest win nationally,” he said.

“As we enter potential record-breaking territory for WA players, this is a fantastic chance to create a syndicate with family, friends or workmates to share the cost of a ticket and possibly the joy of a win.

“Recent history has seen many of WA’s largest Lotto prizes won by syndicates, including a group of 15 workmates who shared a $30 million Powerball prize in October.”

Players have until 6pm today to grab a ticket either in-store or online and are encouraged to register their ticket to a Lotterywest membership to keep it safe.
