Hillarys celebrates second Division One winner in less than a week

Hillarys has celebrated another Division One lottery winner in the space of three days, thanks to Millionaire Medley and Saturday Lotto.

Saturday’s draw saw 13 tickets across the country match the numbers to a Division One prize, each worth more than $367,000.

Western Australia was home to two of these prizes, with one ticket sold from Good Luck Lottery Centre in Hillarys and Lotterywest Play Online.

The duo of wins follows Wednesday’s Millionaire Medley draw, which saw a game from NewsXpress Whitford City in Hillarys turn into a million-dollar prize.

Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said so far this year, 10 West Australian tickets have matched the numbers to a Division One prize.

“It’s been a busy start to the year for our Winner’s Room at Lotterywest HQ,” he said.

“As we wait for our Hillarys winners to come forward, all eyes have turned towards OZ Lotto’s $100 million jackpot.

“Tomorrow’s draw offers the chance to create the biggest Division One winner in WA’s Lotto history.

“The State biggest Lotto prize sits at $80 million, won by a group of 55 ladies who purchased the ticket from Beaumaris News and Post in 2021.”

Tuesday’s $100 million OZ Lotto draw is a great opportunity for players to create a syndicate with family, friends or workmates, to share the cost of a ticket and possibly the joy of a win.

Tickets are available until 6pm on Tuesday in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.
